LCN 23.02 – Send Lucie to Seminary!

Lucie Monge has been serving as an unpaid international intern in the United States for almost a year. Her goal was to learn as much as possible in an American church so she could return to France and help plant seeds of faith in her home country. Lucie is a pastor’s daughter. Her father serves as a chaplain in the French Army. He is currently stationed in North Africa. Her mother and siblings run the youth ministries of their small church on the outskirts of Paris.

Over 70% of people in France are either agnostic or non-religious. This breaks Lucie’s heart. The love of Jesus is what Lucie wants everyone to know. Her life is full and rich because of the love of Christ. Lucie’s American host family has this to say about her: “I think of 1 Peter 3:4 when I think of Lucie. Because she is so confident in her identity as a child of God, she has ‘a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.’ She is always ready to serve and humbly lend her joy, patience and strength to others. As she moves on from here, I am confident she will shine the light of Jesus and draw others to Him!”

Lucie will begin her seminary training very soon. We have the opportunity to express our love and support for her as she moves into this important season in her life and ministry. Please help us encourage Lucie by making an investment in her seminary training!
