We are working to help a senior citizen couple (76 & 73) forced to move from their rental property that they have lived in for the past seven years. The investment company that owns the property has decided to sell, and the couple cannot financially or physically make the move independently. They both collect social security, and the husband works as a bus driver to make ends meet monthly. However, they do not have savings for the unexpected expense of the move. They have some family support but also need financial support to secure a new rental home and cover the moving costs.

They have until July 31st to secure a new rental home and make the move. We estimate that the first and last month’s rent with a security deposit will total $4,000, and moving expenses will be approximately $3,000. We want to help them through this transition by providing as much relief toward this goal as possible.
