We alert you today to a woman that fled domestic violence with her 2-year-old daughter. She is currently in a protection program and safe, but it required her to move from her hometown and start her life over. Getting her financial feet under her has been a challenge. She is a dietitian and has secured a contract with her state government to work with special needs children. She is in training and she will be earning an income in late August. The issue is that she is out of money and cannot pay her rent or utilities until she begins earning income. We are working closely with her through our local church partner. We want to secure her housing and power for the next two months to help her get on her feet and prevent her and her daughter from being homeless.
