Today I woke up with a passage in my head. It has honestly been playing over and over and I decided to roll with it, mediate on it and think “How can God use this in my life today to honor Him?”

The passage is Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.

Going along throughout the day, I quickly realized just how much I lean on my own understanding and how little I acknowledge Him in all my ways… and I wonder why my “paths” get crooked, LOL.

I challenge you to do this for a day. Mediate on the verses in the morning and let the Holy Spirit show you how to honor the Lord in all your ways and how to learn to live by faith and not on our own understanding.
