We alert you today to a mother of two forced from her home. She and her husband have been married for eight years, and they have two children together ages 7 and 3. The husband/father is using methamphetamine, abusing alcohol, and has been unfaithful to his wife. To protect her children, she left home with the children two weeks ago. A judge granted her full temporary custody of the children last Thursday, and she and the children are staying in temp housing. She needs help clearing an electric bill that the husband has not and will not pay ($290), apartment deposit ($350), and first month’s rent ($600). He has wholly destroyed their marital home in the past two weeks, and she does not see being able to go back to that home, make repairs, and be able to afford it in the future. We would like to help her get her and her children in stable housing.
