We alert you to a man that needs help after being injured while working. He has a strong work history that was interrupted due to COVID-19 shutdowns. He went back to work as soon as they allowed, fell into a gas hole, injured his back, and broke his wrist. The work he does requires manual labor, so he is out of work for a few weeks. He qualified for Workers’ Comp, but the payments have not arrived. His wife is disabled, and he is the only source of income for their family. They have stable housing, and the utilities are up to date. However, he is in danger of losing his car, and it is their only form of transportation. He is two payments behind. We feel like he will be getting compensation soon and return to work within a few more weeks. We want to help them avoid repossession by paying what he is behind on the car note ($600).
