Today, we alert you to a single mother of two girls (ages 15 and 12) who have lost everything in an apartment fire. She was under the impression that she had renter’s insurance connected to another policy, but she did not. This single mother is hard-working and very responsible. Other organizations have stepped up with gift cards to help with food and emergency clothes. She can secure a new apartment independently, but all of their furniture, beds, clothes and daily living supplies were destroyed in the fire. They have some family support, but financial resources are very limited. We want to work with our local church partner to contribute $2,000 in relief to help them purchase new beds, clothes, kitchenware, and daily supplies.
