Story

Ok, this is the final need alert of the week!

Just a quick side note…

I think I broke a land speed record for the most typos in a single need alert on the one I sent you earlier today. I am really sorry and we have implemented systems to improve my lack of proof reading skills. (I am no longer allowed to press “send button”)

Back to the mission at hand!

We alert you this final time of the week of a Summer Chaplain Intern in need of a little assistance. This chaplain is serving an unpaid summer internship at the Durham VA Medical Center. She served as an Air Force Medic in The Gulf War and is a recent graduate of The Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia.

Her unpaid internship requires her to work 10-12 hour days and leaves very little extra time to earn any additional money. She reported to the internship with a set amount of money saved and has now run into some bumps in the road.

She lost the key to her car and because the key has a computer chip in it, the cost was $150 to get it replaced. She has also run into other unforeseen issues and now is down to her last $80.

We would like to help her recoup the money she had to spend to replace the lost key and also invest a little into her savings account for her. She has some side work in the coming weekends and we think it will be enough to carry her to early August when the internship is over.

Need

Replacement Car Key = $150

Additional Investment into her Savings = $150

Total Need $300

How To Help

1.) Take a second and pray for this Need Alert and every Deeder that is receiving it.

2.) Make donation below.

*As always 100% of your donation is tax deductible and 100% of your money, less the PayPal fees, will be applied to this specific need. You should also know that the relief will be delivered by the local church partner, not One Need.

All Need Alerts are prayed over and fully reviewed before you receive them. When you see a Need Alert from One Need we want you to have confidence that we are providing relief to a person with a real need. Furthermore, you should know that every need originates with a local church partner. Less than 5% of the Needs we work with become Need Alerts. You can feel confident that when you receive a Need Alert, like this one, that we have dug in and worked with the local church partner and the person in need. We know these people, their backgrounds, and have others that confirm these needs.
