Story

Good Afternoon.

We are alerting you today of a woman in need of help completing her transition out of a homeless ministry. She has struggled in a big way and is really trying to get on her feet. She currently has one job caring for an elderly woman and is really close to landing a second job at the front desk of an extended stay hotel.

We have spent time just talking with her and encouraging her to keep working hard. She has been abused in the past and has also, admittedly, created a lot of her own problems. (Haven’t we all) We prayed with her and encouraged her to take the next right step..and then after that..one more right step.

We are really pulling for her and believe in her. She has a 5 year old son that is counting on her to provide. The father has abandoned them and we want to help her along in her journey to recover and provide a stable living situation for her child.

She needs one week of transitional housing. She should have landed the second job by the end of this transitional week and she will be able to better provide moving forward.

Need

One Week of Transitional Housing = $425

One Week’s Food – $100

Total Need = $525

How To Help

1.) Take a second and pray for this Need Alert and every Deeder that is receiving it.

2.) Make donation below.

*As always 100% of your donation is tax deductible and 100% of your money, less the PayPal fees, will be applied to this specific need. You should also know that the relief will be delivered by the local church partner, not One Need.

All Need Alerts are prayed over and fully reviewed before you receive them. When you see a Need Alert from One Need we want you to have confidence that we are providing relief to a person with a real need. Furthermore, you should know that every need originates with a local church partner. Less than 5% of the Needs we work with become Need Alerts. You can feel confident that when you receive a Need Alert, like this one, that we have dug in and worked with the local church partner and the person in need. We know these people, their backgrounds, and have others that confirm these needs.
