We alert you today to a single mother who is in crisis after her fiancé, and father of her two children, was shot to death while he was working as a security guard at a nightclub in early February. They have a 4-year-old daughter together, and she is pregnant with their second child, due in August. On the night of the murder, she was also working as a server at the same nightclub. Because of the trauma she endured from this tragic event, she has not been able to bring herself to return to work and is looking for new employment.

As a result of this lapse in work, she is more than one month behind on most of her bills. She needs $3,300 to stabilize her housing, utilities, and transportation. She is also desperately in need of grief counseling, and we want to provide 10 counseling sessions ($75/session) with our mental health team. This is a very sad situation, and we want to shine some light into the darkness she is experiencing right now.
