Need 22.58 – Hard-working Single Woman In Need

We alert you to a hard-working, single woman in need. She lives alone and does not rely on anyone else to help her with expenses. She has been working in sales/business development for a tech firm, but she was laid off on July 20th. She immediately filed for unemployment with the Department of Labor. After many calls, the Dept. of Labor is still backlogged and has not given her a final decision on unemployment payments.

Since the end of July, she has been searching for a new job. She was contacted by a few companies and made it through several rounds of interviews. Unfortunately, she has not been offered a position. Her bills were fully paid through September, but her savings have now run out. She has never been late on a rent payment, and even though her landlord doesn’t want to add late fees, he can’t stop the eviction process. She owes October rent, utilities, and car insurance. She also has normal living expenses such as food, gas, etc.

While searching for employment, she did not want to take a low-paying job during the day because of her job interviews. However, she now plans to apply for full-time shift work at a local grocery store this week. We want to give her a little more time to secure the employment she is working so hard to obtain. To fully help her, we need to provide her with $1900 to cover rent, bills, and daily needs.
