Good Morning. Before we alert you of this important need, we would like to tell you about a few upgrades to the system. We have made two significant upgrades:

1.) You will notice that the donation status tracks much better. Our resident tech genius, Jesse Horne, has created thermometer style giving to make your giving experience more awesome.

2.) In past needs we have given you two action steps. We have asked you to pray and to donate. Well now you have a third option..share. You will notice the social share buttons are imbedded in the need alert for you to share this need on your social media feeds. We hope you will.

Now back to the ministry…

We alert you of a man that has been given 4 months to live. He has serious and progressive lung disease and has been placed on hospice by his doctors. He has a relationship with one of our local church partners and they are ministering to him. He has by most accounts, including his own, lived a wasted life.

He is currently living in a “pay by the day” motel and most likely will be there for the rest of his days here on earth. Our local church partner has been providing him food for quite some time and is in need of some financial help to continue to minister to him.

He has absolutely nothing. Basically the clothes on his back and some pots and pans is all he has to his name. We would like to empower this church to provide for some basic needs while they continue to minister to him.

While working on this need I could not help but think about the two men that were crucified with Jesus. One of those men gave his “wasted life” to Christ and was with Him in heaven after he passed from this world. I am thankful that God will meet us where we are and that we can not work our way into heaven.
