The husband, who has been the main source of income for the family, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and is unable to work. He is currently working with someone from their church to appeal his denial for disability payments. His 21-year-old daughter, who also helps with income, has not been working while she recovered from heart surgery in the hospital. His wife has been thrust into the role of sole-provider. She is currently working full-time, and she is in the process of being hired for a second job. This family needs help catching up with rent until they start gaining more income next month. We would like to provide rent assistance in the amount of $2,127 while they get back on their feet.
