Today’s Need Alert might be the most unique that we have ever written to date. The fact that we can share this need with you speaks to the breadth and beauty of the Church. We are alerting you to a Native American pastor who needs help processing a buffalo. One of our partner churches in Montana is near a large Native American reservation. Conditions on the reservation are poor. Most families live at or below the poverty level. Many house churches are spread throughout the reservation. A pastor from one of these house churches is being gifted a buffalo that will feed his family for a year, but he does not have the funds to process the meat. We would like to encourage him and his family by covering the processing fee of $700.
