The Temptations of Christ – Part 3.

In Part 1, we discussed Jesus being led by the Spirit of God to be tempted. We discussed that Jesus prepared for 40 days and 40 nights fasting so that when the tempter came, he would be ready. We exposed the tempter’s short sightedness for not seeing how well Jesus was prepared and the things the tempter attacked. In Part 2, we further exposed the desperation of the tempter and absolute authority Jesus had over the situation because of his pre ...

The Temptations of Christ – Part 2.

Taming The Tongue.

My biggest focus right now spiritually is being mindful of what comes out of my mouth. This passage from James illustrates the importance of our words. I have nothing super profound to say about his passage. Only that I continue to read it and and it continues to help me keep the importance of what I say at the forefront of my mind. James 3: 2-12   2) For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a per ...
