Need 23.33 – 39-Year-Old Single Mother Undergoing Brain Surgery
We alert you today to a 39-year-old single mother of two (4,7) who is undergoing a craniotomy on June 19th. This is the culmination of a long battle with brain aneurysms that started in June 2020 when she had a ruptured aneurysm and a stroke. In December of that same year, doctors operated on her to place coils in a blood vessel in her brain to slow down the growth of another aneurysm. Since that time, doctors have gone back five more times to perform additional procedures.
On February 2nd of this year, she suffered a seizure while at work. After many tests, her doctors decided that she needed a craniotomy, which is a very serious surgery. Leading up to the surgery next month, she will not be able to work. Following surgery, there will be a two-month recovery.
She reached out to our church partner asking for help with rent this month. After fully understanding her situation, we determined that she really needs May, June, and July rent support. We want to provide her with three months of rent at a cost of $4,000. We are also asking you to take a moment to pray for her and the doctors who will be doing the surgery on June 19th.
