Good afternoon.

This is the second Need Alert of the day. Normally we try to spread these out a little better, but the need that came up this afternoon just can’t wait.

We have been made aware of a wife and mother to 4 children that has been suffering from HSV since she was a young child. The virus creates fever blister outbreaks on her face and recently has moved into her eyes, which left untreated can endanger her sight. She is a barista at a well known coffee chain and is now unable to work because of the flair up. She frustratingly told me that she and her husband do not make enough to pay for medical insurance, but make too much get funded care.

She is in a really bad spot and needs care right now…hopefully today. She has raised some money from family and friends but needs $450 more for her doctor’s visit and medicines.

Please consider helping us meet this need before the weekend so that she can get the care she needs and return to work.
