We alert you today to a family in need after both parents lose their battles with cancer one week apart. The father had been fighting cancer for a few years. In recent months, he decided to stop treatment and live out the rest of his life by spending as much time as he could with his wife and children. On the 8th of this month, he passed away. His wife had recently disclosed to family and friends that she, too, was diagnosed with breast cancer but that doctors had caught it early and she was going to be okay. However, she was trying to protect her family from the devastating news that the cancer was in stage 4. Tragically, she passed away on the 14th, just six days after her husband.

They leave behind six children between ten and twenty years old. Most of the responsibility falls on the twenty-year-old son and the grandmother. Final expense costs and housing transition costs are weighing heavily on them. They need $2300 to cremate each parent as well as $3,000 for their rent and utilities for one month as the children transition to live with other family members. We want to help this family with the final expenses and housing transition during this sad time.
