As a Deeder at One Need you are helping to serve The Church through your prayers, your advocacy for those in need, and your giving. Every time you receive a Need Alert from One Need you can be sure that it originated from a local church and there is a real connection being made between The Church and the person in need. Needs are simply ministry opportunities to create a relationship and the sharing of the gospel through truth and deed.

We are reaching out to you this morning to tell you about our once a year fundraiser. It is important for you to know that this is the only “Non-Need Alert” you will ever receive from us this year. We only do this one time per year.

When we alert you of a need and it is met, we send 100% of the money to our local church partner to apply relief, create relationship, and share the gospel through truth and deed. We do not take a percentage of your gift for our general fund. We give every dollar, after PayPal fees, to the local church to be used on that particular need. It is our mission to alert you of needs and serve The Church in the process. You may be interested to know that we have alerted 78 Needs this year and that only represents 7% of the individuals we have worked with through their Need Submissions to our local church partners. Every person that reaches out to us is worked with personally and directly. Each person’s story is heard, prayed over, and they are directed based on what we feel is best for them at the time. As you can see by the statistics above, most of the time their need is not money.

We charge our church partners a relatively small monthly fee to operate their entire care system. They get automated need submission capability for their website, 48 hour response time to needs, full reporting, time stamped notes on each case, quarterly and on demand updates on cases, and a local care team template. We do not charge anywhere near what it actually costs to provide these services. The fees are actually subsidized by individual donors.

Without individual donors the One Need Care Network would not exist. We are very sensitive about putting our organizational needs in front of the very people we serve. We are first and formost concerned with the well being of those in need. We continue to pray and run our ministry with excellence with hopes that people will want us to continue the work we feel like we have been called to do. However, if your gift will take from your ability to respond to the need alerts we send you, please do not give to this fund raiser. Responding to Need Alerts is our first priority.

So with that we are asking for your to consider supporting our ministry through your donation.

When you see a Need Alert from One Need we want you to have confidence that we are providing relief to a person with a real need. Furthermore, you should know that every need originates with a local church partner. Less than 5% of the Needs we work with become Need Alerts. You can feel confident that when you receive a Need Alert, like this one, that we have dug in and worked with the local church partner and the person in need. We know these people, their backgrounds, and have others that confirm these needs.
