We alert you today to a disabled homeless veteran who is very close to securing permanent housing. We first began working with him back in May. He reached out and asked for support. He needed housing but had yet to do any groundwork to put us in a position to step in. This week, he reached out to us and has made great strides! He has identified a place that fits his budget, gone through the application process, been approved, and saved up his first month of rent. However, he still needs $800 for his security deposit, and he must make the payment next week, or he will lose this excellent housing opportunity. We want to help him with the $800 security deposit as he continues to work out of homelessness.
