Need 24.04 – Young Man Working Hard To Get Stable

We alert you today to a young man working hard to stabilize his life after a setback. Last year, he moved out of state to be closer to his girlfriend, whom he intended to marry. Over the next few months, he discovered that she was struggling with drug addiction, and marrying her in that state would be unhealthy. He decided to move back to his hometown and was able to secure a job working in a kitchen immediately. Most of his family struggles with addiction as well, and he decided to live in an extended-stay motel while looking for permanent housing instead of with family for that reason. He was doing well and gaining traction when he was fired from his job as a cook on the spot. The restaurant was very busy when the owner asked him to do something. The young man reacted poorly, and after his shift, he was fired in the parking lot. He is working hard, going door to door, and looking to regain employment, but he only has until Thursday when he must be out of his motel room. Our local church partner gave him a food box that is helping him, but he needs help with housing while he finds new employment. His motel is $400 per week, and we would like to buy him four weeks ($1,600) while he continues to work to stabilize his situation.
