We alert you today of a family in need of food for their children. They are all very active with their church and well-connected in the community. The mother has had to stay home with the youngest child, who is not quite 3 and autistic, which means solely relying on the father’s income. They have applied for financial assistance, but it will be several weeks until the application is processed and the funds are received. All 3 children are on specific diets for their health, needing food that is either not provided at food banks or is too expensive to purchase. We would like to provide them with several weeks of food until they begin receiving funds so that the children can continue on a diet that meets their health needs.
