We start the week off by alerting you to a single mother of four (12,11,7,2) who needs some help as her 2-year-old little girl undergoes open-heart surgery. The child was born with a genetic condition called a Double Aortic Arch. Typically, doctors would perform this surgery around the 6-9 month mark, but the condition first went undetected and then was initially misdiagnosed. As a result, she will undergo surgery to correct the issue a little later than usual. The husband, and father to all of the children, has left the family and is not supporting them in any way. The mother is a diligent worker with a strong track record of supporting herself and her children. However, she is being forced to miss work to care for her child and needs help with her rent. We want to help her with her $2,000 rent.
