We are working to help a hardworking 27-year-old single woman get out of an extended-stay motel. Several months ago, she abruptly left her boyfriend and moved from the apartment they shared to an extended-stay motel. She is paying almost $2,000 per month in motel fees and has been working to get into her own apartment. She was recently approved for an apartment that fit well within her budget at $1,150 per month. However, the almost $500 per week motel fees are making it nearly impossible for her to come up with the $1,100 deposit she needs to make the move. We want to help her with the deposit and stabilize both her housing and her budget.
