We alert you today to a widow in need after losing her 28-year-old husband to a heart attack earlier this year. She has done her best to pick up the pieces for herself and her children and has been working to earn her commercial driver’s license, which she will finish in a few weeks. She has employment lined up immediately after, but has been unable to work full-time during the program. She can pay some of her rent but needs $1,100 to cover the balance and avoid eviction proceedings. We want to help her with her rent and feel she will be able to support herself and her children going forward.
