We alert you today to a husband/father who is recovering from colon cancer surgery. He is a hard worker with a strong work history at a North American-based steel producer. His wife does work, but he is the primary breadwinner for her and the five children (15 to 2) in the home. As many are, he was surprised by the cancer diagnosis, but even more surprised by how quickly doctors wanted to operate. He did have some savings, but was unprepared for the unexpected extended time off work caused by the surgery. He and his family need $1,600 to pay their December rent. We want to help them as they navigate the unexpected health event.
