Story
Good Monday Morning! I hope you had an awesome weekend and are off to a great start today.
We alert you this morning of a very cool work that is being done at one of our local church partners. The local church partner has a thriving food pantry ministry. They feed many people and are constantly uncovering other needs as they build relationships wit hose that come them for food.
One of those relationships formed has been with a homeless man in his mid 30’s.
He is currently living in a building without any utilities and, through a series of choices, found himself in desperate need of help. Our local church partner has connected with him a in meaningful way and has been working with him to help get him back on his feet. He has expressed a desire to start a simple landscaping business that he believes he can grow to work himself out of homelessness.
The local church is willing to help him find business and he does have a friend with transportation that will work with him. He is just in need of equipment to do the work.
We would like to help this homeless man get into business by getting him some simple equipment to get him started.
We do have some concern about the equipment being lost, stolen, or sold so our church partner has agreed that if we are able to get him equipment, they will manage it directly.
*As always 100% of your donation is tax deductible and 100% of your money, less the PayPal fees, will be applied to this specific need. You should also know that the relief will be delivered by the local church partner, not One Need.
All Need Alerts are prayed over and fully reviewed before you receive them. When you see a Need Alert from One Need we want you to have confidence that we are providing relief to a person with a real need. Furthermore, you should know that every need originates with a local church partner. Less than 8% of the Needs we work with become Need Alerts. You can feel confident that when you receive a Need Alert, like this one, that we have dug in and worked with the local church partner and the person in need. We know these people, their backgrounds, and have others that confirm these needs.
