Our inspiration today comes from a young woman who, after her mother’s admittance to a mental health institute, instantly became the legal guardian for her three younger siblings. This transition forced her to prioritize their well-being, which she has done with joy, even though settling them into her home has used up much of her savings. However, in early December, she lost her job. She worked diligently for the few weeks following her job loss during the holiday season to secure a new full-time position. Despite this positive step, she faces a critical situation because she will not receive her first paycheck until later this month. This family needs immediate help to cover their rent and utilities so they are not continually playing catch-up over the next few months. We would like to give them $ 1,500 to alleviate the mounting financial stress she is carrying while providing for her young siblings.
