We alert you today to a mother and her three boys (15, 12, and 10) who need support. Over the past year, the mother has courageously battled breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy and later required a second surgery due to complications, keeping her from working for an extended period. During her recovery, their vehicle was totaled, creating additional financial strain at an already overwhelming time. As a single mom fully responsible for her boys, she has worked tirelessly to maintain stability in their home. We celebrate that she is now cancer-free and has recently secured employment (taking on two jobs). However, this season of lost income has left her behind $1,600 in utilities. We want to come alongside her and the boys tangibly by providing her with the $1,600 financial bridge she needs as she returns to work.
