We are working today to help a hard-working 70-year-old teacher as she recovers from a broken arm. Her social security retirement income is not enough for her to live on, so she works as a traveling substitute teacher. Six weeks ago, she fell and broke her arm and was forced out of work for several weeks. As a result, she has gotten behind on her rent and is facing eviction. She is now back to work but needs $2,200 to prevent the eviction. We would like to help her stabilize her housing as she returns to work after recovering from her unexpected injury.
