We are working today with a single mother of five who lost her 7-year-old daughter to Leukemia 14 days ago. She provides for herself and her children by working for her local city government. However, she has been out of work for the past month on FMLA and needs help making ends meet this month as she returns to work after losing her daughter. She needs $2,200 to cover her rent and utilities for the month. We want to support her as she grieves the loss of her child and presses forward, returning to work to provide for her family.
