Need 26.34 – Single Mother Placed In Medically Induced Coma

We are working today to help a 45-year-old single mother (kids 9,11) who was placed in a medically induced coma for three months. In January, she was rushed to the hospital with a fever of 105. The fever was caused by an infection, and doctors were able to resuscitate her. Doctors then placed her in a medically induced coma until early April. After the coma, she went to rehabilitation to relearn daily activities like walking and feeding herself. She now lives with congestive heart failure and kidney disease. She also requires full-time oxygen and a walker to be mobile. She has disability benefits on the way, and we have examined her monthly budget going forward. Thankfully, the disability benefits will be enough for her to provide for herself and her children going forward. However, right now she needs help with her monthly bills for one month, totaling $2,300, to get her through until the benefits arrive. We would like to help her bridge this financial gap.
