We are working today to help a young single mother of two (ages 3 and 4) who is going through an unexpected job transition. For the past several months, the clinic she works for has been reducing many staff members’ hours. She waited as long as she could to see if things changed, and when they did not, she was forced to leave and join a new clinic with full-time hours. She has made the transition and held everything together, except that she has gotten behind on her car payments. She needs $500 to catch up, and we would like to help her stabilize her transportation as she wraps up this transition and moves forward.
