We alert you today of a need for a hard-working and accomplished student. She has done incredibly well in school. She has earned very high grades as well as led the marching band as the drum major.

Our local partner is working with the student and her aunt and they need help paying the niece’s commitment fee to Emory University in Atlanta, GA. The aunt has raised her biological niece and she supports the two of them through her job as a crossing guard as well as two other side jobs.

The commitment fee is due in just a few weeks, and in a case of really bad timing, the aunt has lost both of her extra jobs. They are going to be okay financially going forward, but this extra expense is simply not in the budget.

We would like to help her secure her spot in college by paying her commitment fee of $500.
