Rent Support for Single Mom

Good Afternoon,

We have connected with a single Mom from one of our partner churches who is in need of rent assistance for the month of November.  Here’s her story…

She is a 41 year old, single mother of a 12 year old daughter.  She was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma 3 years ago and diagnosed with Lupus 6 years ago.  As a result, she was off of work for several years and eventually became homeless, living here and there and even out of her car and a storage unit.  All of this while battling cancer, undergoing chemotherapy and hospital stays.

Last year she was blessed with a great job and has been working steadily ever since. In August she had another bout with Lupus which rendered her out of work in September and part of October.  She has since gotten back to work, but she was just able to offset eviction late in October.

She needs assistance to fill the gap of her rent in November to get back on track and not risk eviction.

THE IMMEDIATE FINANCIAL NEED:   November Rent – $1300
