Story

We alert you today to a woman that has been a single mother for twenty years. She has done a great job providing for her children and getting them into college. She has faithfully served her local church and kept her children involved there as well.

In the last two years, she has lost both of her parents, who both lived overseas.  Her father lived in England, and her mother lived in Jamaica, her birthplace. Her mother’s death was just a few months ago.  She was murdered in a fire which the police are actively investigating as an act of arson.  As the only child, she flew to Jamaica and had to bear the entirety of her mother’s funeral expenses.  Between the travel, funeral, and time off work to take care of all that (and still have a daughter in college), she fell two months behind on her mortgage.  She is $2050 behind.  She is working consistently, and we would like to help her catch up her mortgage.
