Story
Good Afternoon.
It always amazes us how God creates opportunities for us to share the gospel with others through sacrificial love and service. The obvious evidence of fruit from loving in truth and deed is so encouraging.
Today’s Need Alert is one of the most unique opportunities we have seen in a while.
Several months ago a, Pakistani American, father and husband was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. He was given just a few months to live and decided to go back to Pakistan to be with his father in his last days. The family spent every dollar of savings they had to make this happen. When it was over, it left the wife widowed with young children and no savings. The family’s income was reduced as a result of losing the father and they are being forced to move to a smaller apartment to create a sustainable living situation.
She reached out to our church partner, through her apartment complex, and asked for help packing and moving. We were able to use our local care team to begin the process of building a relationship with her through her time of need. We currently have two very evangelistic men and one woman helping her pack. We also have been able to get a moving company to greatly reduce the cost to move her because of the ministry opportunity that exists in this need.
She has shared with the care team that she has never heard the gospel before now. She has stated that they are Muslim, but really just culturally and not practicing. She has shown interest in what the care team is sharing with her and we are excited about what God is doing in her life through this group.
We need final help paying the reduced moving rate and continuing this conversation and relationship.

How To Help
1.) Take a second and pray for this Need Alert and every Deeder that is receiving it.
*As always 100% of your donation is tax deductible and 100% of your money, less the PayPal fees, will be applied to this specific need. You should also know that the relief will be delivered by the local church partner, not One Need.
All Need Alerts are prayed over and fully reviewed before you receive them. When you see a Need Alert from One Need we want you to have confidence that we are providing relief to a person with a real need. Furthermore, you should know that every need originates with a local church partner. Less than 5% of the Needs we work with become Need Alerts. You can feel confident that when you receive a Need Alert, like this one, that we have dug in and worked with the local church partner and the person in need. We know these people, their backgrounds, and have others that confirm these needs.
