Story

We alert you today to a 32-year-old autistic man that lives independently. He works in I.T. and is very capable. However, he struggles with the interview process, and this had made it difficult for him to find full-time employment. He has received SSI in the past based on his income. Recently he ran into a perfect storm of sorts. He lost his SSI benefit because he earned too much money, which is a move in the right direction. However, he then lost his employment and found himself without any income. He has since secured new work at 30 hours per week, and his SSI will reset next month. We feel like he will be back on track soon. The problem is that he can not pay his bills for this month. We do not want him to be evicted or to go without transportation and power. We want to help him by covering his bills this month.
