We alert you today to a 26-year-old single mother in need. She has two children ages 8 and 2 and does not have any other family support. She has been working for a temp agency on odd jobs for quite some time and recently secured a new permanent position with a nationally recognized company. During the employment transition, she experienced an unavoidable lapse in income to make the jump from temp to permanent employment. We are excited about her improved job, but she is now at risk of being evicted from her home because she did not have enough saved for this opportunity. We want to help her stabilize her living situation, and we are confident she will be able to sustain herself and her children going forward.
