We alert you today to a 21-year-old young man that is in severe dental pain daily. He was raised in a low-income split home and never received any dental care as a child. He is now a grown man and is dealing with severe dental pain. We are working very closely with our local church partner and have gotten him a consultation with trusted dental experts. He has two abscessed teeth requiring root canals. He is also dealing with multiple other cavities that, if left untreated, will result in even more tooth loss. Finally, his impacted wisdom teeth need to be addressed at some point too. He works washing dishes at a restaurant 40 hours per week and does not have the money even to get started on the relieving his pain. He is approved for a payment plan for the secondary issues but needs $1900 to get the treatment to ease the pain. After the initial procedures, he will be out of immediate pain and able to work an action plan to get healthy using his payment plan. We want to help stop this young man’s dental pain.
