We alert you to a single mother of a 2-year old son that is recovering emotionally as well as financially from an abusive relationship with her child’s father. The father has left the relationship and is not supporting the mother or child in any capacity. She works full time, but her budget is very tight every month, and she has not been able to save up any emergency funds. Recently she had to get her car repaired to insure she kept transportation and now she is short on her rent. She is a hard-working single mother, and we feel like if she can recover from this situation without an eviction, she will be able to get back on track. She has a portion of her rent in reserve but is $600 short. We want to help her with the partial rent she needs this month.
