We alert you to a single woman in need of help with her rent. She has a longstanding history of supporting herself, and like many people, has fought through the past year, financially. In mid-April, she faced car repairs that totaled over $2,500. Realizing that she relied on her transportation for her employment, she went ahead and fixed the car. She used all of her savings, plus some of the money she needed for rent, on the repairs. After giving her landlord what she had left, she is still $680 short on this month’s rent. We want to help her get current on her rent and avoid the scenario where growing late fees create an ongoing financial hardship.
