Need 21.36 – 80-Year-Old Single Woman Suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia

We alert you today to an 80-year-old woman who needs help. She is on a fixed income and has been suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia is a condition often described as the most excruciating pain known to humanity. The pain typically involves the lower face and jaw, although sometimes it affects the area around the nose and above the eye. This intense, stabbing, electric shock-like pain is caused by irritation of the trigeminal nerve which sends branches to the forehead, cheek, and lower jaw. It is typically limited to one side of the face. The pain can be triggered by actions as routine and minor as brushing teeth, chewing food, or simply feeling a breeze on the face. Attacks may start out mild and short-lived, but if left untreated, trigeminal neuralgia can progressively worsen.

This elderly lady has been working with her doctors to control the pain, and the medicine and extra doctors’ appointments have overwhelmed her fixed income. Adding to her budget crisis, she needs to replace two dangerously worn out tires on her car. She recently spent her remaining monthly income on two new tires, but she needs help with the remaining two tires. As a result of all these added expenses, she is also unable to pay her rent this month. She needs $270 for the two tires and $910 for her rent and late fees. We want to help her through this trying time.
