Need 22.16 – 55-Year-Old Widow Needs One Month Financial Bridge
Today we alert you to a 55-year-old woman who became a widow on January 17th when her husband of 35 years suddenly passed away in their home. She spent her marriage as a stay-at-home mother and wife. Her husband managed their bills, and after his death, she realized that she had no understanding of how their finances were handled. While trying to figure everything out, she discovered late fees on almost every bill, with some bills being two months past due. Her utilities are beginning to be disconnected, and her landlord is threatening eviction.
In addition to this, she has faced complications in obtaining her husband’s death certificate which is preventing her from gaining access to his retirement income from the railroad company where he worked. We are confident that she will be alright once she navigates through this season of transition. We want to give her some relief as she moves into this new stage of her life. She needs $4,305 to stabilize her financial situation.
