Need 22.69 – Serious Medical Issue Forced Law Enforcement Officer to Resign
Today, we alert you to a man with severe medical issues who had to resign as a law enforcement officer. He was diagnosed with Major Neurocognitive Disorder, which is a form of dementia. In his case, the condition was brought on by a stroke and other heart issues. He has severe problems with cognitive function, memory loss, and anything involving fine motor skills.
Because of these medical issues, he could not continue his work as a police officer. His wife became their sole provider. A while after his resignation, she also suffered a stroke. They have spent their savings covering all these medical bills. Thankfully, she has recovered, and is getting ready to return to work. We would like to provide $1,350 in rent assistance for one month to help them as they get back on their feet.
