We alert you today to a refugee family of four in need. Over a year ago, the 41-year-old parents along with their two sons (11, 6) fled religious persecution in Pakistan. After receiving credible threats against their family, they chose to come to the United States, where they were granted asylum. We have been tracking with the family for several months. Both parents have been doing odd jobs as they waited for their official work permits.

We learned last week that the work permits have been secured, and the father has already found a job doing database management. He will start on May 15th, but he will not get paid until the end of the month. This hard-working family needs help paying their rent and utilities this month. The total need is $2,400. We are confident they will be able to provide for themselves going forward.
