Need 23.48 – 65-Year-Old Woman In Hospice Care
Today we alert you to a 65-year-old woman whose heart and kidneys are failing. Doctors expect her to live only a short time longer and are recommending a hospice nurse to keep her comfortable over the next two months. She has been her husband’s sole caregiver after he became immobile and blind from a stroke. She told us, “When I leave in the next month or so, my husband’s sister in Houston will take him in and care for him.”
Her husband’s sister has offered to care for both of them right now, but doctors say it is unsafe for her to make the trip. This couple needs help with $650 of their June rent which is $1,540 in total. Someone else has already agreed to cover their July payment. They don’t expect any needs after that time.
