Need 23.51 – Parents Both Suffering From Illness
We alert you today to the parents of two children (16, 13) who are suffering from illnesses that have kept them from paying their rent. The father is dealing with a heart condition called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). He is a loader operator, and the illness has prevented him from working. His wife suffers from uncontrolled epileptic seizures. She is able to work from home to help the family hold everything together. Two months ago, she had to have a hysterectomy, which caused her to miss time from work. She is back to work now, and her husband is looking for alternative employment. They are facing eviction and need $1,800 in rent support. We want to help them while they recover from these medical setbacks.
