We alert you today to a family that has experienced turmoil while welcoming their third child. In April, the mother was laid off from her full-time job a few weeks before their baby was born. At that time, they moved the family into her mother’s home, who needed help after being diagnosed with lymphoma. Not long after that, the husband was hit by a car while on his motorcycle. He is still recovering in the hospital. This new mother is strong and doing what it takes to care for her husband, mom, newborn, and two other children. Within six weeks, she is hopeful that things will begin turning for the better. We want to help them get through the next six weeks by providing them with $900 for food, $500 for heating stove pellets, $500 for gas, and $600 for incidentals. The total need is $2,500.
