She was admitted to the hospital in late August and underwent the first of her two surgeries in early September. She is now recovering from the surgeries and beginning chemotherapy treatments. All her paid time off has been exhausted over the past few months, but she has been approved for disability benefits covering her monthly financial obligations until she can return to work. However, she is behind on her rent and unable to catch up. She needs $1,800 for her rent, and we are confident she can sustain herself from now on.
